If a Canadian Company was Located in the U.S.

Somethings wrong with our accounting laws. Manulife Financial Corp. is a Canadian firm, and thus it had a very bad year. If exactly the same company had been magically relocated to anywhere in the United States, it would have had an outstanding year.

- I looked up the specs on this ship. It has 13 decks & the draft is only 26'-11" it didn't say how tall it was above water. All the ones I say was in that range, not very much underwater to support the height above water. At 8' per deck that would be 104' would be a conservative estimate.

- I wonder what the draft is on one of these ships? They look awfully top heavy unless they carry a lot of ballast.

- I believe they can get her floating again. Get the cranes to sit it upright again weld some steel plates over the gash in the hull & pump the seawater out. She could be floating in a month.

- I know someone that does that, "illegally downloads movies". He told me he gets them from Turkey if he is telling me the truth. I don't know how he does it, sometimes he has them before the theaters. I don't have anything to do with it, I would be to scared of going to jail.

- I think Jessica is correct. No problem with the storage it's the sharing that's illegal & he was operating a file sharing site. Not a storage site like he is trying to claim.

- Plumber, you can't leave a house empty around here. They will steal all the copper wiring, air conditioners anything they can sell even the sinks. You have to take the AC's out & board it up good or it will all be gone. and hope you have good insurance.
